Dr Jyoti Vandana is the Founder, Clinical Director and Registered Manager of Child Mental Health Clinic. She is an established Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience across NHS CAMHS and independent practice.
Dr Vandana completed her medical training in India in 1995 before undertaking specialist psychiatric training in the UK. She became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2001 and completed her higher specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Newcastle in 2004.
She has worked as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist since then, holding substantive posts across a range of clinical settings and several counties. Following a long NHS career and the growth of her independent practice, Dr Vandana decided to focus on leading and developing CMHC.

Dr Vandana’s clinical expertise includes psychiatric assessment, ADHD assessment and medication management, autism assessment, medical management, cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural intervention and family support.
She is known for her thoughtful, compassionate and child-centred approach. She works closely with families, GPs, schools and other professionals to ensure that care is clinically robust, practical and tailored to each child’s needs.
